In view of the high cost to attend IFPA 2024 for international participants, IFPA is pleased to announce special awards (up to US$1000) for IFPA investigators from low income countries (see https://wellcome.org/grant-funding/guidance/low-and-middle-income-countries) to attend the meeting in Montreal. The criteria for eligibility are (1) being an established investigator (not trainee) and (2) (co-)authorship of at least one abstract. Additional criteria used for selecting awardees include previous involvement in IFPA and/or placental research, justification of the need and scientific excellence

Please send your application to Professor Hirotaka Nishi (nishih@tokyo-med.ac.jp) by May 1, 2024 including the title of your abstract(s), a resumé/CV (2 pages), a letter (1 page) explaining your involvement in placental research and IFPA and a justified budget plan

Important: Success of an application will require an accepted abstract. If an applicant’s abstract is not accepted, the application will be turned down. Notification will be sent after May 15, 2024. Registration must take place by June 2, 2024. Payment will be made after registration
